Rule of thirds

At a time when everyone is acting photographers (and a few are indeed), it is fundamental knowing the rule of thirds. It is not because it will assure you perfect photographs, but at least you will know how to build an orderly composition (although basic).

Often it happened to me to explain the rule of third, but surely an infographic is better.

Summarizing:

  1. Divide ideally the framing in 9 equal parts
  2. The central zone (“aurea”) is the first that catches the eye
  3. The intersection points among the imaginary lines are zones of interest

Did you already know the rule of third? Do you use it?
